BCA Indonesia Open Super Series Premier 2015 Was A Success

Jakarta, - The BCA Indonesia Open Super Series Premier 2015 offering 10 billion rupiah prize money came to an end on Saturday, June 7 after a successful six day event which started on June 2. Public’s response was very positive as the number of visitors coming to Senayan indoor sporting arena was increasing each day.

“We are grateful the BIO was running successfully, everything was going well. This is because of good coordination from every related parties. We also thank to the sponsor, BCA, Djarum Foundation, Blibli.com, Trans 7 dan several others,” said Achmad Budiharto, Deputy of BIO 2015 Executive Committee.

“Since the beginning, the tournament had been awaited, in fact tickets had been sold out days before matches. However we also realize there are limitations in capacity. We will evaluate what we need to fix and improve in the future,” he added.

The BIO 2015 receives appreciation from BWF (Badminton World Federation) as stated by Darren Parks, Events Director BWF, BIO always displays interesting shows with its fanatic supporters.

“I saw excitement and passion which are very amazing this whole week. We also witnessed surprises in the outcomes of the tournament. The atmosphere in the tournament was simply different. We also think that the organizer is awesome,” Darren said at a press conference on Sunday night, (7/6).

Meanwhile, Yuni Kartika, the PBSI Head of Public Relation and Social Media said that BIO will be an example of the World Championship 2015 event held on august, 10-16, 2015.

“BIO is the pilot project for the world championship. We will evaluate things to improve. We also foresee chances to partner with related parties so we don’t have to start from the scratch. But we still want to offer something different from BIO, and of course we want the best,” Yuni, who was a Women’s Singles shuttler in the 90s, said.
