The world's 47th from Japan, Kazumasa Sakai, must bury his target as a champion in BCA Indonesia Superseries Premier Open 2017 after in the final round match on Sunday (18/6), Kazumasa could not resist a massive offensive from from India's player, Kidambi Srikanth.

Kazumasa could only stand for 37 minutes at the Plenary Hall Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), he lost in two games straight. In the first game, Kazumasa lost significantly, 11-21. But in the second game, Kazumasa managed to control the game.

Unfortunately Kazumasa was helpless in the middle of the second game because the Indian player kept on suppressing his defense. Kazumasa initiated an attack until 19-21.

"I was tired in the first game, I could not control the set. And in the second game, I took over the control and managed to lead but it turned out the result was not good," said Kazumasa.

"This is the first time, I will try harder in the next superseries. I am not satisfied, I want to be the champion. I am happy to show my performance to the coach in Indonesia. I am happy with the support the crowd," Kazumasa added.
