Again, BWF Praise 2016 BIOSSP Event

JAKARTA - The BCA Indonesia Open Super Series Premier 2016 (BIOSSP) has ended. The BIOSSP this year is considered good. Despite no Indonesian players in final, the shining Indonesian young players at the tournament worth to mention.

However, Achmad Budiharto, the Deputy of BIOSSP 2016 Events at a press conference at Senayan Stadium, Sunday (5/6), said he was grateful for the achievement of this year's BIOSSP.

“We have to be grateful that the BIOSSP this time went smoothly, thanks to BWF, the media, and everyone supporting the tournament. Speaking about athletes achievements, it is not as we expected as this is the first Indonesia Open without Indonesian players in the final round. Hopefully young players can give more in the future," said Achmad Budiharto.

Meanwhile, Thomas Lund, Cecretary General of Badminton World Federation, praised the tournament. At the press conference, Thomas stated that PBSI (Indonesia Badminton Association) has created an amazing tournament atmosphere.

“This tournament has the  biggest prize money, there is always a new thing every year, the supporters are numerous, many world players claim to be happy playing here. Everyone can enjoy their match here. PBSI has created an amazing tournament atmosphere, the supporters kept on pouring the stadium although there were no Indonesian players in final," Thomas said.
