Celebrities Give Supports for Indonesia

JAKARTA - Supports for Indonesian envoys fighting in ultimate matches, the semifinal of Indonesia Open Super Series Premier 2014, are also coming from celebrities who like badminton. There are several celebrities spotted at the stadium giving supports for the home players.

One of them is, Mario Lawalata, who watched Tontowi/Liliyana Natsir's match. Wearing a headband with "Indonesia" tagline among other Indonesian supporters at the stadium grand stand, the soap opera star was seen excitingly taking part in crowd's rumble.

"I see Indonesia is heading to a more advanced and better position in badminton world, so we don't need to be disappointed although our favorite players lost," Mario said after watching Owi/Butet's match against China's pair in which the Indonesian pair turned down their chance to final.

Besides Mario Lawalata, another celebrity spotted was Maria Selena. The sexy celebrity who idolized Simon Santoso and Liliyana Natsir too expressed the similar opinion with Mario.

"Although losing, we should still give them support. Two of my favorite players have indeed failed, but I will keep on admiring them," Maria said.

Another celebrity who was also spotted was Fauzi Baadilla, A characteristic actor who often appeared as antagonists in his films admitted that he is a badminton lover. The presence of the three celebrities surely a special attraction for other supporters as there were loads of them who used the chance to have  brief meet and greet sessions including photo sessions with  Mario, Maria, and Fauzi Baadilla.
