When interviewed by Djarum Badminton in the midst of her busy schedule, Apriani explained her preparation for the Indonesia Open 2017.

“It's 90%, and the other 10% is about mentality, and [I] communicate with Greysia about the preparation,” said the player from klub Jaya Raya Jakarta.

In the first round, Apriani who has just won the Thailand GPG with Greysia Polii will face Korea's Chae Yoo Jung/Kim So Yeong. This is the first encounter for both sides.

“Against the Korea's pair. I focus on my preparation since they play very well,” said Apriani on her next opponent.

When asked about her expectation for the Indonesia Open this year, the player born on April 29 1998 said she was ready to show her true quality.

“Well the point is to show my quality, the result comes after, hopefully I will achieve the best,” Apriani ended.
