The Denmark doubles defeated Marcus/Kevin in the first round of the BCA Indonesia Open Superseries Premier 2017 on Wednesday (14/6) at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).

"Their performance was great, we respect them since they are the world's number one. We played at our best. Perhaps the wind affected their performance," said Andres.

"They didn't play as usual. We don't know why. Our target here is to defend last year's title, but looking at the draw that got us to fight Kevin/Marcus in the first round made us focus on this match," he said.

Meanwhile, Kim claimed that Marcus/Kevin were not at their best performance.

"The key was to control the match and it worked. I'm happy with our performance, and we think Marcus/Kevin are not at their best performance," Kim ended.
