The first set gave the 2014 Indonesia Open Super Series Premier champion hard times before getting back his level in the second game.

"I was making some adjustments on the court, it was a pretty difficult set to play my level, fortunately I could win it," Jan explained. 

To Jan, playing at Istora is one thing he likes the most. It's because of the noisy, merry-making fans at the indoor sporting arena that able to load 15 thousand people. 

"I love playing here as there are many fans giving support. It is surely a motivation for me at this tournament. Hopefully I can reiterate last year's success," he said. 

In the second round tomorrow, Wednesday (4/6), Jan is still waiting the winner between Xue Song (China) and Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka in the first round. 

"In the second round tomorrow, I expect to dace Hayom," he added.
