Ko/Shin step in the throne after overcoming China's envoys, Fu Haifeng /Zhang Nan, on Sunday (7/7) in a three set match, 21-16, 16-21 and 21-19.
"The match this time was hard fought and tough, and surely we are pleased to win it," said Ko Sung Yun.
When asked about the key to victory in the final, Ko/Shin explained they both tried to attack first and not to lose points from the opponents.
"Because the opponents were tough, we were trying to give pressure since the beginning and not to lose a single point," Shin Baek Choel added.
"The result is rewarding, but of course we will keep on practicing once we arrive in Korea to prepare the next tournament so we can achieve another success," Ko Sung Yun concluded.
