Since the beginning of the match, the firth seeded Ma Jin/Yuanting seemed troubled to handle their juniors. This made Jinhua/Qing take control and lead the match.

"Not bad. Our opponents were also from China, we knew how they play,” Qing said when asked about the match against compatriots. Ma Jin was also lacking of fighting spirit in the match. It is considered as one of the strategies applied.
