Played Outstandingly, Anthony Ginting to Secure Quarter Final

Jakarta, - Young Indonesian men's singles, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, played well at BCA Indonesia Open Super Series Premier 2015 second round and scored upset by stunning the Indian fourth seeded, K. Srikanth on Thursday afternoon. Her victory allows him to go to quarter final which will be held on Friday, (5/6).

Starting his campaign from the qualifying round doesn't make the 18 year old player's ambitioin low in facing a more favorable player. Anthony secures a ticket to the next round by ousting his opponent in a three game straight 4-21, 22-20 and 21-13.

"Thank God I can win over Srikanth. Even though he is more favorable, as my coach always says not to be overwhelmed by such opponent, because I am the one who should be feared not him, and it gives me confidence to win," Anthony said after the match.

Admitted by Anthony, he was a bit shocked by his opponent's stance strength and his way of playing. 

"A bit surprised by his feet powerful feet and his managing the shuttlecock, but in the second game, I began to enjoy the match and managed to shoot more, and in the third game, I played with various style," he explained when asked about his strategy.

In the quarter final held tomorrow, Ginting is still waiting for his next rival who is going to perform this evening, a match played between Japanese Kento Momota and Hu Yun (Hong Kong).
