It is Tang Yuanting who has a long but small unique pigtail hairstyle. The hairstyle seems one of a kind as it is hard to compare to similar style. Hence many badminton critics are wondering what the reason is for her to be fond of the hairstyle.

In a press conference after her final this afternoon together with Yu Yang, Tang shared her story about her hairstyle.

“This hairstyle brings me luck. I am not referring or imitating any style, this is my own style, and I will keep it," Tang said with a smile on her face.

At the BCA Indonesia Open Superseries Premier 2016, Tang/Yu had to satisfy as the runner up after defeated by a Japanese pair, Misaki Matsutomo/Ayak
