Tontowi/Liliyana's mission to be the champion at home has now gone in a two set match 21-15 and 21-14 in Djarum Indonesia Open Super Series
Premier (DIOSSP) 2013 semifinal, Saturday, (15/6).

Previously, Tontowi/Liliyana had been defeated by Joachim/Christinna
in Korea Open, last January. Having the superior record 1-3 over
Joachim/Christinna has become a challenge for Tontowi/Liliyana to spot
their weakness.

"This is a  homework for us in finding the best formula to defeat
them. It has been discussed with the coach and will be studied
further," said Liliyana when being interviewed after the match.

The Formula will be used by the two time All England champions to face
in the world championship. To Tontowi/Liliyana, Joachim/Christinna are
not an easy opponent. They also admitted that their performance was
not at its best, on the other hand, their opponent performed very
well.

"They, especially Fischer, has a good aerial control. Whatever the
ball was directed, they would know, while our performance was not
developing. Playing defensively, they could take us... playing
offensively, they hit back.. we were under pressure," Liliyana stated.

In this occasion, Tontowi/Liliyana also apologized to the public,
especially for the fans at the stadium who had been supporting them.

"We truly apologize we couldn't give the best when the public put a
lot of hopes," Liliyana added.
