Jakarta | There are many ways to support the Indonesian badminton players that are competing in Blibli Indonesia Open 2019 Tour Super 1000 that was held in Istora Senayan, Jakarta on Saturday (20/7).

The atmosphere during the day 5 of tournament was different as the tournament has entered the semifinal stage. The supporters enthusiasm has crowded Istora Senayan, this caused some of the supporters to be unable to enter the stands as the tickets were already sold out.

However, these supporters were still being able to join the crowd. During the match between Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan and the Japanese pair, these supporters joined the match screening that was held in the Djarum Foundation booth. The heat did not prevent them to support ‘The Daddies’.

Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan was left behind in the first set, and this caused the supporters in the Djarum Foundation booth to be nervous. The situation got more lively after ‘The Daddies’ managed to lead the game in the second set until they finally equalized the score to be 1-1.

As the third set started, the hundreds of supporter in the Djarum Foundation booth seemed to be more nervous than ever as the Japanese pair managed to keep on stealing points from Ahsan/Hendra.

Occasionally, these supporters shout loudly whenever Ahsan makes a smash shot that was not able to be blocked perfectly by the opponent.

The support in Istora has boosted Ahsan/Hendra spirit to turn the situation around and ended the match with a win in the third set. The match screening area got really noisy after the match ended. The supporters were shouting to celebrate the result, some hugs each other and drop happy tears from their eyes as ‘The Daddies’ won the semifinal match.
